Spring 2017 Symposium: Green Cities

On March 30th, the NYU Environmental Law Journal hosted a panel focused on how living in dense cities is inherently environmentally friendly, and how cities can build on their preexisting strengths.

Speakers:

  • David Owen, author of Green Metropolis and a longtime staff writer at the New Yorker;
  • Charles Komanoff, director of the Carbon Tax Center and an advocate for bicycling, livable streets and pedestrian rights;
  • Professor Katrina Wyman, NYU Law professor of Property and Environmental Law.
